Coverage maps

OneMobile is now supported over the Optus Network, which covers up to 96% of Australia
OneMobile relies on information provided by Optus for the extent of coverage provided by the Optus Mobile networks. While the highest standards have been applied by Optus in preparing these maps, 100 percent mapping accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, a number of factors beyond Optus's reasonable control may cause coverage to vary within a stated area. For example, handset quality or areas of variable reception (e.g. basements, lifts, underground car parks and large concrete buildings) may mean reception is unavailable or subject to interruption. Optus reserves the right to change or modify the network schedule and future locations shown on these maps at any time without notice.

Currently in operation is a Single Band 3G Network of 2100MHz available to 80% of the Australian population and recently launch a Dual Band 3G Network of 900MHz & 2100MHz
Providing a total population coverage of 96%. When outside the 3G coverage areas, users can still access the Optus 2G Network to send and receive voice and sms messages.

3.6Mbps (HSDPA). Average speed of between 500Kbps and 1.5 Mbps with speeds up to 3.0Mbps. Actual speeds will vary and may be slower. Many factors affect speeds including internet traffic, your equipment, location, software and the source of your download.
